Colorado Jr. Eagles Update PDF Print E-mail
The Colorado Jr. Eagles announce the departure of our Hockey Director, Mike Caple. Mike has dedicated the past four years to the development of the Jr. Eagles and we are grateful for his efforts. The Jr. Eagles thank Mike for all his hard work in helping the program get to where it is today. We definitely regret Mike’s departure and wish him and his wife Lori, the best of luck and thank him once again for his commitment to helping the Jr. Eagles become the program it is today.

cejrslogo_large In its four year existence the Jr. Eagles have built the base needed to achieve its vision and mission of providing an outstanding program environment for the youth hockey player. The Jr. Eagles will continue to provide this environment to balance academics, character building, and ice hockey for all participants.

The Colorado Jr. Eagles would like to announce Phil Levy as the President of the Board. George Wolff as Director of Hockey and Coaching Development. Chris Gassman will continue as Business Relations and Goaltending Director as well as the Assistant Hockey Director.

Phil, a native of Illinois where he played his youth hockey, High School hockey and NCAA football bring over 10 years of coaching experience to the program. Phil is presently a local private chef working with some of Denver’s top athletes and professional sports teams. He joined the Jr. Eagles in 2004 assisting with the Pee Wee and Bantam teams. Since then Phil has worked with our Midget teams, winning one CDYHL league championship and one CAHA State Championship

George Wolff is entering his fourth season as a member of the Jr. Eagles coaching staff. George, who grew up in Minnesota has been a power-skating instructor for the past 10 years. George has been coaching hockey in Colorado for the past 8 years in which he has been the head of the development in the Jr. Eagles mite and squirt age players during his time with the Jr. Eagles.

Chris Gassman has been with the Jr. Eagles since its inception four years ago.
Chris has been head of goaltending development for the past four seasons as well as the Business Director for the past two seasons. Chris earned his Degree in Business Administration for the University of Northern Colorado where he was a member of their hockey team for the four years he was a student.

The Colorado Jr. Eagles are very excited about continuing its original mission and vision statements and is looking forward to the new season and seeing all of you in August for tryouts.
