2 years ago the very first Colorado Jr. Eagles girls team was formed and in the very first year that team went on to win the 2009 MSGHL State Championship. Based on that success the Eagles girls moved up to the AA level in 2009/2010 and finished an impressive 3rd in the state in a very competitive bracket. 2010/2011 promises to be the best season ever!

The Jr. Eagles focus on team building and having fun. There is no reason that ice hockey should have to consume your life and force you to miss school functions, family functions, and other important things that only come around once in your life. Yet at the same time many young athletes still want to play competitively and strive to win the State Tournament. That's why the Jr. Eagles were formed, a perfect balance between commitment to hockey and commitment to life's other demands.

The Jr. Eagles girls keep their rosters a bit smaller than most associations which provides the most ice time for all the players on the team. With the Jr. Eagles it really is all about the kids!

Tier II opportunity!
This year the MSGHL is offering a Tier II option which will be a team made up of MSGHL players from each association all playing together on a Tier II team that has the chance to play at regionals and nationals. The Jr. Eagles will send representatives from our team to tryout for the MSGHL Tier II program. If players from the Jr. Eagles make the Tier II team they will double roster and play on both teams. With the MSGHL Tier program now ALL players have the opportunity to get the best of both worlds: the fun of the MSGHL regular season and state tournament, as well as a chance to play at the Tier level and move on to regionals and nationals.
