I just
wanted to take a quick minute and thank everybody who has been involved
with making the Junior Eagles program such a huge success these past
three years. A special thanks to our lead sponsor, John Elway AutoNation,
thanks for helping the program enjoy so much success and all your
support for the kids! Having John Elway AutoNation involved has
definitely allowed us to raise the bar. Winning two State Championships
in one year is going to be a tough act to follow.
Putting league and tournament success aside, I believe the program
succeeded in fulfilling its’ mission to teach and develop. As coaches
we have an obligation to continually develop our knowledge and pass
this on to the players and parents, ultimately developing the program
as a whole.
Has it been an easy journey? Not always, but nothing worthwhile doing
is. It takes a great deal of hard work and dedication from everyone
involved… from the family’s dedication to the hockey lifestyle, to the
rink staff that takes care of our ice. Has it been worth it?
Absolutely.
So, from the Colorado Jr. Eagles, thank you to everyone who has helped
out and supported this program from it’s inception, and continues to do
so. The Jr. Eagles program has built up a huge head of steam in its
first three years of existence and we have some exciting growth
opportunities to announce for the coming years, so keep your eye's
peeled to the website for new information and we'll see you at the rink!
